English riding lessons at Centerline are designed for riders of all levels and all interests. Whether you are looking to compete in shows, or just want to develop a hobby that gets you exercising more, we have a program for you.

Beginner lessons focus on tacking up and grooming your horse, learning basic equine atamony, and developing strong safety practices useful in any horseback riding situation. Riding comprises approximately only 30 minutes of these 50 minute lessons.

Intermediate and experienced lessons continue the focus on safety, while expanding riders' ability and positioning in order to maximize the horse's overall performace.

Lesson designs do vary depending on each rider's ability and progress.

We welcome riders as young as 5. However, due to safety concerns, beginners of all ages are limited to private lessons. In order to graduate to group lessons riders must prove they can walk and trot their horse without a guide.

There is a 200 pound weight limit for all riders.

Arrangements can be made for riders who want to take lessons on their own horses. Trailer-ins are also welcome. Please contact Maya for more information.

Ultimately, Centerline's goal is to ensure safety and enjoyment throughout the riding experience.

Each client is scheduled to fill one of a limited number of lesson time slots. If any conflicts arise with the assigned time slot, clients are asked to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance so that the available time slot may be refilled.

Lessons are offered daily except Mondays and Tuesdays.

Special scheduling arrangements are always a possibility, especially for those eager to ride!

Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Clients will be invoiced for the full cost of any lesson cancelled within less than 24 hours of the scheduled meeting time. "No shows" will also incur a full charge. No makeup lessons will be given.

Lessons cancelled appropriately need to be rescheduled within the same month. Any unused lessons cannot be transferred to the following month.

Excessive cancellations will result in loss of time slot.
