Lessons at Centerline are designed for riders of all levels.

Beginner lessons focus on tacking up and grooming the horse, learning basic equine atamony, and developing strong safety practices. Riding comprises aprroximately only 30 minutes of these 50 minute lessons.

Intermediate and experienced lessons continue the focus on safety, while also expanding rider's ability and positioning in order to maximize the horse's overall performace. Lesson designs do vary depending on each rider's ability and progress. Please note: intermediate and experienced riders should arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time of their lesson in order to tack up their own horses. Also, all riders should plan to remain at least 15 minutes after the ride is over in order to untack, groom and put away their horses.

We welcome riders as young as 5. However, due to safety concerns, beginners of all ages are limited to private lessons. In order to graduate to group lessons riders must prove they can walk and trot their horse without a guide.

There is a 200 pound weight limit for all riders.

Arrangements can be made for riders who want to take lessons on their own horses. Trailer-ins are also welcome. Please contact Maya for more information.

Ultimately, Centerline's goal is to ensure safety and enjoyment throughout the riding experience.

Each client is scheduled to fill one of a limited number of lesson time slots. If any conflicts arise with the assigned time slot, clients are asked to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance so that the available time slot may be refilled.

Lessons are offered daily except Mondays.

Special scheduling arrangements are always a possibility, especially for those eager to ride!

For lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (including no shows), clients will be invoiced for the full cost of the lesson--no makeup lessons will be given. Lessons cancelled within the 24 hour time period need to be rescheduled within the same month. Any unused lessons cannot be transferred to the following month.

Excessive cancellations will result in loss of time slot.
